Human Capital Coordinator

The Human Capital Coordinator will help us improve our Human Capital operations while learning and progressing in your career.
The Human Capital Coordinator is responsible for:
- Maintaining systems that improve efficiency, customer service, data accuracy, actionable reporting, and sustainability of HR processes
- Sourcing and recruiting proven and talented individuals to join Crescent City Schools
- Collecting, screening, and reviewing candidate information
- Managing CCS’s staff certification email account
- Collecting and submitting certification paperwork on behalf of employees, maintaining up-to-date certification status trackers, and problem-solving with the Louisiana Department of Education’s certification team
- Assisting with timekeeping system administration
- Assisting with the administration of staff benefits, including reviewing invoices for accuracy
- Assisting with the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including offer letter and background check management
- Organizing employee data to ensure compliance with relevant employment and education laws and regulations
- Participating in the life of the schools within the network by attending staff meetings and celebrations and providing support as needed
- Assisting with other aspects of human resources management, including job descriptions, personnel manuals, benefits guides, employment verifications
- Performing other duties as assigned

- Have strong organizational skills, including proficiency in the use of spreadsheets, Google Docs, and similar tools
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills
- Have successful experience working well under pressure and with tight deadlines
- Have experience in open-enrollment schools and/or in a human resources role (preferred)
Physical Requirements
- This is a hybrid role. You will spend most of your time in school-based offices, with the possibility of some remote work over time
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
